What an SLA gives your production
The license includes the SLA. This is what it means for your line, compared with calling us only when something breaks.
- Fast, guaranteed response — We respond the same business day with Standard, and within 2 hours around the clock with Premium. Without an SLA: best effort, typically 1–2 weeks.
- We see problems before you do — 24/7 monitoring with alarms on cameras, the edge computer, the PLC link and detection quality. We often start fixing a fault before anyone on the line notices.
- Always up to date — Software upgrades in production, security patches and AI model updates are included. Without an SLA, an upgrade costs €2,000.
- Nothing gets lost — Daily off-site backups. If hardware fails, we restore your system onto the replacement within 1 business day, or 8 hours with Premium.
- Predictable cost — Faults in what we delivered are fixed at no charge, with no call-out fee. Other work costs €144/h instead of €180/h.
- Know how your line performs — A monthly health report and a daily production report, with an uptime target of 99 % (99.5 % with Premium). Premium also refreshes your AI model every year as products and lighting change.
Example: three production stops in a year
Two stops on weekdays and one on a Saturday night, each a fault in what we delivered. Two take about 6 hours to fix remotely. One is fixed in 1 hour, but urgent work without an SLA is billed for at least 4 hours.
Without SLA
- Stop 1, weekday: €900 call-out + 6 h × €270 = €2,520
- Stop 2, weekday, fixed in 1 hour: €900 call-out + 4 h minimum × €270 = €1,980
- Stop 3, Saturday night: €900 call-out + 6 h × €450 = €3,600
Total for the year: approx. €8,100
And the meter keeps running: every extra hour costs €270 on weekdays and €450 at night and at weekends.
Not included: No guaranteed response, No 24/7 monitoring or alarms, No backups, No health or production reports, Software upgrades €2,000 each
With Standard (Example fee €500 / month)
- All three stops fixed at no charge
- Response the same business day
- 24/7 monitoring with alarms
- Daily backups
- Monthly health and daily production reports
- Software upgrades in production
- Other work at €144/h
Fixed for the year: €6,000
Lost production is not included. The Standard fee is €500–€1,500 / month depending on the system.

- Prices per system, excl. VAT. A system is one edge computer running Optimus with up to four cameras. A standby computer for the same application is included, and additional systems at the same site cost less.
- The license is invoiced quarterly in advance with 30 days to pay. If it is not renewed or paid, the system stops working after written notice.
- Without an SLA, urgent work has a 4-hour minimum and a €900 call-out fee, refunded if you sign an SLA within 4 weeks. Travel time is billed at 80 % of the hourly rate, travel costs at cost.
Why should we have an SLA?
Because a stop costs production, and without an SLA you pay for every hour of it with no guaranteed response. With an SLA we monitor your system 24/7, keep it backed up and up to date, and respond the same business day, or within 2 hours with Premium. Faults in what we delivered are fixed at no charge.
What happens after 15 months?
The license renews for 12 months at a time at the tier you choose, invoiced quarterly in advance. We remind you well before the first period ends.
What happens if the license is not renewed?
After a written notice, the system stops working. Your production data, configurations and logs remain yours and can be exported. When the license is paid, it is reactivated.
Why is the Standard price a range?
It depends on the complexity and development of the system: the number of cameras, AI models, integrations and custom functions. The exact fee for each system is stated in your quotation. Additional systems at the same site cost less, and a standby computer is included.
What does a fix cost?
With Standard or Premium, faults in what we delivered are fixed at no charge. Other work, such as changes, new features or problems in networks, PLCs or robots, is billed at €144/h.
Can a system run without a license?
Yes, by agreement. For selected projects we grant a perpetual license. The system then keeps running without renewal, and you choose between pay-as-you-go support (No SLA) and an SLA.
Can we change tier?
You can move up a tier at any time. Premium is set up by agreement, including your on-call contact, before its 24/7 response starts. A move down takes effect when the license renews.
